Lee’s career includes owning and operating full-service real estate firms, serving as the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Executive Albemarle, and leading at the highest levels of REALTOR® governance. He is the former President of the Canopy Realtor® Association, Canopy MLS, and the Canopy Housing Foundation, and has served as a Director on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors.
He remains actively engaged in industry advocacy, currently serving on the Charleston Trident MLS Board of Directors, the CTAR Advocacy Committee, the South Carolina REALTORS® Legislative Committee, the NAR Major Investor Council, and as a State Political Coordinator (SPC) for South Carolina REALTORS®. These roles strengthen his ability to protect property rights, understand emerging market forces, and guide clients through complex decisions.
Lee earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from UNC Charlotte, giving him a distinctive analytical foundation that informs his market analysis and negotiation strategies. His clients and colleagues value his steady leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a best-in-class real estate experience.
Originally from North Carolina, Lee lives in Charleston with his wife, Mary Burt, and their English Lab, Lottie. Their adult children reside in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Outside of work, Lee is an avid endurance athlete, a Boston Marathon finisher, and a competitor in the Ironman World Championships in Kona.
